Hello everybody. recentl i started my channel. But a few days ago i decided to delete my first 5 videos.. Now you maybe thinking why would you do that? Well i was asking myself the same thing. but the reason i did it was because the editing was realy bad.. so now ive got 2 new videos on my channel and have spent some more time in Sony Vegas. I also noticed that i realy like editing. i always was intrested in it but never done it. I decided that because i cant find a job maybe i can start studying Audio Visual Production and after that AV production - Video Editor. i realy want to learn everything about it.

So now is my question maybe you want to watch my 2 latest videos and give me some feedback on how im doeing so far.

HOW DID YOU KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING!

You should have made them private. Don't delete hard work, save it and look back on it a few years from now to see how you've improved!

ohyeah s**t forgot about that..

btw i you just earned a new subscriber :) i like your content :)

i watch two of your videos and you only did basic stuff. its not good to do basic stuff, try harder on your videos or people will get bored very fast. one more thing studying Audio Visual Production is a demanding job if you mess up you could get fire and you would make the person look bad if you mess up. i think you need to find an easier job, one that does not make you look bad.

Well thank you very much! :D

I was going over your second video, I enjoyed the edits with the music, it definitely is not bad. One suggestion I would make, which is really just a personal suggestion, but I would suggest speeding up certain clips. For instance let's say you record yourself killing 3 opponents, instead of doing three different "fade cuts" you can speed up the footage right after you shoot the first bad guy, up until you're about to shoot the second guy then slow it back down to normal speed, and so on with the third guy. This just shows that you were able to go through and kill multiple guys in one take as opposed to the cuts which makes it seem like you get killed everytime you shoot someone. Like I said that's just a personal suggestion, keep up the good work and always think of new things to add!

It's very basic indeed. Apart from adding some background music and making some simple transitions between your shots, you didn't do much. This is not necessarily a bad thing though. As a gamer, your prime focus should be getting good shots featuring extraordinary kills and stuff. And that is what I think is the problem with your videos. I'm not a gamer, but I can tell that what you were doing was, frankly, pretty straightforward. I didn't see anything that made me go like "wow, now that's some skills right there". I think that one of the main reasons for that is because you seemingly got all of your shots out of one single game. Chances are that if you are making a 4:30 minutes long video out of 30 minutes of footage, you are going to have to use quite a lot of clips that really aren't that interesting. Try making a video out of, say, 3 hours of content and only use the highlights. It's probably going to be a lot more interesting already. Also, your video was really laggy. That's something you may not be able to fix, but it's definitely annoying and I think it will cause most people to leave.

What is that supposed to mean? Why on earth would you tell someone not to aspire doing something because it isn't easy? It seems like you're telling him he can't do it, which isn't really nice nor is it based on much.

Thanks for all the feedback so far.

I see its laggy but i dont know why, when i renderd it and watched it straight from my HDD it wasnt laggy at all. But when i put it on Youtube it becomes laggy for some reason.

At how many fps did you record? You need to make sure that the sequence you edit in has the same framerate as the footage you use, otherwise it may get laggy.

I recorded at 60 FPS with bandicam (in game i get over 90 fps stable) and then let Sony Vegas render it at NTSC 29 FPS. a mate of me said that was the best render option so i did that. how should i render them properly?
