What's the easiest way to do this kind of thumbnail?
upload_2015-5-29_14-22-3.png

There's a video frame on the background, a see through black block on the bottom, a logo and text on it.

I want to do this for my thumbnails as it feels it's easy on the eyes and can keep it consistent throughout my videos. The image of the background would change from the video to video, I already have a log, and the only thing that would vary on each thumbnail would be the text.

Seems simple enough but I have no idea how to do this... can someone help?

Thank you!!!

If you can use photoshop, that would be insanely easy to do (Layering a translucent black rectangle over the video frame). If you don't have it and don't want to spend money on it, it is very easy to download for free, there are loads of YouTube videos on it.

Just put a black rectangle on the lower part of the picture and lower the opacity (to ~80-90%) and put white text over it. The logo you have to make separately but if you already have one, you just paste it on top.

You pretty much got your answer from everyone above, but I highly suggest using Photoshop. The program is great and if you ever want to change up the look, the variations are endless.
