Does SUB4SUB prevent you from a partnership?

I was listening to this commentary about this guy talking about SUB4SUB websites. He said that they were good to help your channel grow, but what happens when a possible partnership comes along? Won't they deny you for faking subs?

No, most networks partner you based more on views than subs. But if you botted views, it's a completely different story.

Yes they will, and as a response to this :
"He said that they were good to help your channel grow" your channel may look as if it has more subs but they`re all going to be inactive and not actually watch your videos.

The only person you`re fooling and/or hurting in the long run with Sub4Sub is yourself :mstickle:

It won't prevent you from becoming partnered, but it will do nothing for your channel. There is no point doing sub4sub because you are left with dead subs.
For an example; You do sub4sub, gain lets say 150 subs from it. You post a video.. and only 2 people watch it. You think to yourself "I have 150 subscribers, why does my video only get 2 views?"... The answer is because those people don't care about your channel, they only care about seeing their subscriber number go up. If it makes you feel better knowing that majority of your subscribers don't watch your videos, then somethings wrong.

I'd rather have subscribers that actually watch my videos, not just subscribe so they can get their subscriber number +1.
Doing sub4sub will not help your channel in no way, shape, or form.

Take it this way:
A network pays you per 1000 views, so if you decide to bot views , basically you`re taking money from your network for a non-legit job, It would be like selling a fake watch to a jeweler, you still get paid but not for the right stuff.

It won't prevent you from becoming partnered
Yes it will, networks don`t accept botters as you`re basically robbing them, e.g. if you bot while in Fullscreen they`ll kick you out and not pay you any earnings you`re owned.

As a recruiter I`m told to avoid botted channels.

Well I was talking about doing sub4sub, not views lol.

it's unlikely but some networks say that channels shouldn't have a history of sub4sub, if they seem curious they will be able to check, but usually it wont. But it's stupid anyway, like I always tell people, you can have 20,000 subs and only 10 views per video and it's going to look really weird, I wouldn't try it.
