I think it's definitely worth a shot, I'm not sure how it works though, do you pick a video to display and then what? It rolls your video as an ad before some other video???

Yeah. I have a comedy video displayed with Google Adwords. I showed to my friends, and they thought it was funny. It might have a 50/50 chance of getting alot of subscribers or not.

Yes. We've used Adwords in the past with great success. However, we've also used Adwords in the past with no success and wasted a lot of money very fast. My advice is do a lot of research before hand (look up every blog post, video and tutorial on Adwords that you can find). It's definitely possible to get some really great results from it, but it might take a few failed attempts to get a good understanding on how to best use it to attract your audience.
