Does box for box work?

Hey everyone, I've heard about something called box for box. I'm assuming that it means me putting someone else's channel in my features channels box, and them doing the same for me. My question is: is it worth it?

I am nearing 2k subs and am going up at a rate of 10 new subs per day. I want to increase that rate lol. Should I put an offer out for sub4sub?

Box4Box hasn't really worked that much for me. I am actually on the featured channels list of my friends who have 1k-5k subscribers on there channel and I haven't noticed a huge difference or anything.

Also don't do sub4sub please. If you're getting 10 subs a day then you're sure to reach 2k subs in no time.

I don't know much about box4box but sub4sub isn't worth it.
I guarantees a couple of more subs but they probably won't be dedicated to your channel as much as your real subbers would be.
Most of the time, it's just to show a bigger number. Doesn't necessarily mean you'll get more views.

Sub4sub is nothing, all it does is just bump up the number of subscriptions (not active subscriptions mind you), and they won't bother with your channel usually.
As for box4box, I think its best kept between friends/channels you look up to/similar content you like.
