Does anyone use vidspoon?

Apologies if there is already a thread about this, I did search but nothing came up. So I just watched this video:

And other youtubers have been recommending the site as an alternative to the lameo youtube feed. I was wondering if anyone else around here knows more about it or how it works, or has used it. As far as I understand it, you log in with google and it was created by some British tubers...

Sounds and looks like a great idea. But the website scares me. Looks like a fake website

There's actually a vid spoon gathering in the UK I'm guessing created by the same British youtubers. The top end elitist British youtubers have been creating a lot of things recently to make money. Just on the people who made it I would choose to never use it

I think that's because it's still in it's early stages... but I'm still sussing it out.

Looking at it, it doesn't seem to be a big cash cow at the moment, that said it's early days so I guess we'll see. I don't subscribe to many of the top British tubers, so I haven't heard much about it I guess.

It's been the other stuff they have been involved in and their general attitudes about it

Ok so i signed up. It seems very like this other site called you like hits. They are just sites that you tell people what you want a like a view or a comment. Problem though is that its basically fake views likes and comments.

The idea of using YouTube's API is a good idea (I actually built something similar a few weeks ago).

But unfortunately, YouTube's rate-limits on their API means that this won't be viable if enough people start using it.

I've reached out to them - sounds like they outsourced the programming, so they may not have realized this yet.

hmm, interesting. I did wonder what would happen if it gained popularity, both logistically and if it would change the way people used it.
