Does anybody have a patreon?

I do understand what Patreon is and I personally use it but unfortunately I have no patrons yet. I think it's a great way to have an alternative to earn from your YouTube videos (especially for those videos that are un-monetizable!) :) Any kind of channel can use it.
 
Basically any channel. It's effective only if you have a huge fanbase and people are willing to help to pay some bills.

However if numbers are small, then it's not gonna be useful anyway. I've placed the link on almost all of my vids and no one ever donated to me.
 
I believe it all really has to deal with the crowd you are going after. If you are going after 12-13 year olds, more than likely you won't see much luck. If you are going after more of the mature crowd, you'll probably see better results with doing something like Patreon. Hopefully this makes sense.
 
I don´t use it because I had a job, which pays for my travels, and to me, it seems like begging, and It doesn´t feel right for me!
 
I've actually had a couple of viewers ask me to do Patreon so they can contribute.

But I agree, it seems like begging, and those folks may need the money more than me.

The channel is humming along nicely, brings in a dollar, so no Patreon for me.
