Do you use cards or normal annotations?

I just recently found out about cards on youtube, a different kind of annotations altogether that lets even mobile users interact within the video. I have heard about a few people using them but I still see the bigger channels only use the old annotations.

I dont know what you guys prefer but most of my audiences watch on their phones and I seem to prefer them being able to click on 'call to action' buttons more conveniently rather them checking up on my description for it. Although the cards notification bar seems a bit small to garner the attention it needs.

I only recently started using them. I went through every video and added a card promoting next video. And then i have like a normal annotation for my contact e-mail thats all.

I use an annotation to link to my subscribe link and cards to make suggestions of other videos to watch. It seems to work out okay.

I use it occasionally and try to place them at the moments I predict viewers might quit and exit my videos. The only downside I see with cards is that it prevents my featured videos from showing up, which gets me views on my latest video.

I still only use the annotations. I think cards can be useful if you suggest other videos at some part in your video. And like you said, if it works on mobile, that could really be useful for getting subs.

I only use cards if my video is in a playlist, and i use it to promote the playlist, otherwise i use annotations, i only ever use annotations in my outro though, sometimes i may add titles while editing the video to caption something, but yeah i normally only use annotations in my outro or sometimes when i insert a picture in picture video, and want to link to that video. I also put the link in the description, i have only recently in the last couple of videos started putting the link to my previous video in the description box too seemed to forget mobile users can't see annotations

Both for different things.

At the end of my video a subscribe button and a link to another video to watch more pop up, and I use annotations for those so that people can click them directly on the screen. It's the same if I add a video thumbnail in somewhere in the video during editing to link to another one of my videos - then I'll add an annotation link to it.

I use cards primarily to suggest videos that I forgot to include a thumbnail for in editing, to suggest appropriate playlists, or to link to my products/merchandise.
