Do you think we will get gif thumbnails?

I think for now they're only working on a function that lets you create GIFs from YT videos so you can use them for promotion(?), and I hope they won't allow thumbnail GIFs. In my opinion, it would be so distracting and annoying!

That will be pretty cool. The first Youtubers who use them will increase their views a lot because of how new it is.

GIF thumbnails would not be a good move.
A thumbnail is there to give you quick information, I dont want to wait for a GIF to do it's rotation as I scroll down.

Oh god I hope not. That would be so obnoxious. Also, increasing the size limit is not going to happen any time soon because it would take WAY too long to load web pages, considering most people have crappy internet.

No thanks. Google has taken strides to unify and simplify the user experience. There's nothing worse than a bunch of flashy, moving images to annoy people.

It would be nice to see when used well, but it might make the site look a bit tacky with flashing gifs (which now I think..might lead to controversy about people who are epileptic)
