Do You Script Your Vlogs?

I'm curious if you, my fellow vloggers actually script your videos, and if so do you feel it benefits you substantially?

What I usually do is just write some of the talking points down or little reminders which are usually only 1 or 2 words long.

Then I just talk about the points in the video and if necessery do re-takes of areas.

I find that this method keeps me more natural in my videos, it's one of the few things I get complimented on so I guess it works for me haha.

So, what say you? Do you script or not?

I don't. Normally I pre-plan what general ideas I'll talk about, but I never use an actual script, word for word. It takes too long for me.

i don't. but then again im not Vlogging like most vloggers would...I think it is helpful to script if that's gonna be your "bread and butter" on youtube. I mostly just know what i am gonna talk about and just go...but Vlogging is just something extra that i do..

Its actually smart to pre plan so you dont go off subject, i say stick to what your good at ..

I don't vlog often, but when I do, I jot down some notes. helps me remind myself of the points I wanna make! if i think of an important line, I may write it out, and I might write a transition line if i think it's necessary.

like i said, I'm not a vlogger, and I'm not a person who's good with thinking on their feet, lol

I do agree with making important notes so your video stays in a decent time frame and you get your points across, but i think scripting just kills the natural feel to vlogs. Well thats how i felt on the only occassion i scripted!

which one did you script? i kinda want to see if there's actually a difference (if you don't mind, of course)

Ughh I hate when people watch my videos from a while back. I'm only happy with my videos in July haha.
