Do you really need more than one channel?

So I'm a new restarter around 1 week ago I removed all my old videos and started again with my partner Nicola. We're doing a lot gaming, vlogging (getting camera soon) and challenges however I feel I rather upload all to one channel for time being to build the views and audience on it. We do have a second vlogging channel but i'd much rather avoid till we grow.

What are your opinions on multiple channels?

Well I would say when you get bigger you can get more channels. Right now I'm on a same boat I would upload gaming, vlogs, short movies basically everything on one channel. But there are also people who were only gaming and then created second channel for instance vlogging.
 
i'd stick to the one channel, and pour all your time into that, i only have the one channel and to be honest, i struggle to find enough time for just the one, a lot of late night here! lol
 
unless you have a really good reason to, and can find the time for it, i would just stick to one. it bugs me when a channel has like 4 different channels and they are all of the same thing,
unless your changing it up for the second channel, its not worth it.

thank you very much my mistake sorry for wrong forum[DOUBLEPOST=1469186924,1469186822][/DOUBLEPOST]Thank you for all the great replies, I hate it too when people have loads of channels drives me mad however VivaLaJord channel is meant to be gaming but with the newly bought gopro etc I will be vlogging and doing some crazy videos. I feel I want to aim and grow my vivalajord channel over the course of a few years.
 
I have a second channel for the simple fact that my gaming audience generally won't like the content on my second channel.
 
You might need a second channel if you have a wide variety of content. Your channel only has one type of video so a second bridge channel will not be necessary. I hope that helped.
