Do you guys answer every single comment?

Yes, I do reply to every comment, unless it's someone who commented asking for sub 4 sub. I don't get a ton of comments, so it's quite easy for me to reply to everyone.
 
Yes I always try to reply to everyone who comments, they took time out of their day to watch and then comment on my videos so I will take time out of my day to reply it's only polite and i'm really grateful for all my subs and viewers anyway!
 
Absolutely, if someone takes the time to watch one of my vids, the least I can do is reply to their comment. I would try and do this even if I had a thousand comments
 
Well done for thinking like that. If people can take time to watch your videos, at least you can answer to them. So that is very nice. Just wanted to say that. Wish you best luck and keep on going :-)
 
my channel is small enough where I can. I try to like all comments and only the ones I think are worth commenting back to (such as questions and compliments)
 
On some videos like my first lucid dreaming guide (which has over 1.3M views, and thousands of comments) most of the questions are repeated ones I've already answered and the time to answer them is just not worth it - so what I do is I pick certain questions to answer, and also make note of any questions that crop up a lot. If a question crops up many times, I make a video addressing that particular question, and pin the video link at the top of my lucid dreaming guide for a few days.

The rest of the time I try to answer 95% of questions I get, even if sometimes the answer is just for me to point them to a video in which I already answer their question. Some comments slip through the cracks because the way I check my comments is via the email notifications I get, and occasionally if I got multiple messages at once on a video I'll accidentally skip over one or two - but on the whole I reply to most of them, especially on my newest videos.

I also leave my Twitter open to people to contact me there. I've stated in several of my videos that if anyone posts a comment and it doesn't get answered, they can direct message me on Twitter and I'll guarantee them a response. Since I have 14.6k YouTube subscribers and only 150 Twitter followers, telling people to go over to Twitter if they have questions they really need answered makes things much more manageable.
 
I usually do unless the comment takes a left turn, what I mean by that is when someone gets weird or way too personal. Sometimes I'll just like cause not every thing someone types requires a response.
 
I get about 3 comments a day on average so it's easy to reply to them all, I also live in Italy where coffees are very small...which helps.

Like you I try to give a proper personalised reply, I think it helps build a community and loyal viewers.
