Do you guys actually use the dislike button?

I've never actually disliked a video before... I'll just leave. Have you guys ever seen a video so bad you had to dislike it? Sometimes I feel like the dislike button is only there for trolls and just sad, mean people... I dunno... Thoughts?

That's actually a really good question! Normally if I don't like something I just leave the video and go watch something else haha people clearly just dislike cus' they have nothing better to do!!

I usually like every video I see, but there's always those videos that just make me want to dislike them so bad...

Typically if I don't like a video personally, but can tell why someone else would like the video, I don't press like or dislike the video. If the video is heinous or disrespectful, I definitely dislike it. I also dislike people I find to be pretentious.

I think that disliking is also a form of engagement so you may actually promote the video by clicking the dislike button.
The best way to penalize a channel is to leave as soon as possible once you realize that this is really a bad video and never to visit this particular channel again.

I use the dislike button when I dislike a video, that seems fairly obvious. And instantly dislike videos in cases of misleading titles and stuff like that. Like when I search specifically for gameplay videos of a game, and I click a video labeled with "Gameplay" and there's commentary over it.

I usually never dislike any videos, if I dont like the video I stop watching simple as that!

I only dislike videos if they have a really misleading title/thumbnail . If I don't like something I just stop watching it.
