Do you get worried when the views are low?

I make videos because I enjoy them. I'm not in a competition with anyone, even myself. I was making videos consistently when my views were in the teens. I make videos as though no one will ever see them.

Amen to this!

Although I gotta add, when I did a lot of work to edit a video and I am really proud of it and it gets minimum views, it feels like it's all for nothing. But on the other hand, I am doing YouTube for my own entertainment aswell!

I wish YouTube would have a combined view traffic count for all channels. That way you could see if it's just your channel or all channels getting less (or more ) views each day.

A little. For example over December my views have dropped a little, not loads or anything but I've put it down to all the vlogmas videos and mine being buried under everyones favs. I had to watch 6 hours of YouTube videos from my sub box today just to get through all the ones from the last five days, so I'm pretty optimistic it'll pick back up soon :)

Its a thing that happens I suppose. When you put a lot of effort into a video and it gets 2 views that day. Not fun. But I counter it by putting out more videos, then over time the views rack up. Patience is the secret sauce.

YES!! this is exactly how i feel...i put so much time and effort into my video and it gets 1 or 2 views!!! gahhh so frustrating

I would start to worry if I see several month in a row with progressively decreasing views. Otherwise big seasonal fluctuations are to be expected.

Well...as a beginner it is very disappointing to only have 50 views...but hey...it's a start right!! Not giving up...that's the secret!

I don't yet, but that's because my channel isn't very popular (yet :P ) and doesn't get a TON of views regularly. But I might be if it were such a regular thing for me.
