Do you get Envious when seeing other YouTubers Succeed?

I definitely do, I think it's only normal. But I try not to let it get me down and instead I try to think of it as motivation.

Not really no. I'm usually happy for them. They worked for it. The woke up one day and decided they were gonna grind and they earned it. Now some people mess up bad. They deceive their fans and take advantage of them. I have no respect for those people. I'll never do that to my subscribers. I don't know how they can.

Unfortunately, YES. Specially, those who just started and see how fast they're growing both viewers and getting lots of subscribers when I am trying to get those for years but they did it less than a year. How cool is that? At the end of the day, I just focus on my own channel and move on, maybe they have the charm that I don't have. I think it's a normal feeling that we feel envious and be motivated by that.

This! This right here can we just for a moment. This frustrates me to no end but I can't do anything expect focus on my own channel.

Sometimes it's hard not to feel just a little bit envious, but I never let it go too far. I mean, take the Black Nerd for instance. He's basically a 'professional TMNT fan'. Dude, I'm a huge TMNT fan, I can do that. Someone invite me to exclusive cons and behind-the-scene TMNT events and cameos with the Critic and Nerd too. LOL. But what can ya do right? I guess it's not 100% bad to be a little envious at times, just don't let it consume you. Use it to get even better at making your videos.

On a more personal note, one of my friends that appeared on my show several times eventually made his own channel and once he started doing Phoenix Wright voice overs, his channel exploded. He actually buys his own $100+ equipment based off the earnings from his channel and hosts panels at cons giving advice on voice acting and channels. Am I envious of him though? Oddly enough, not really. He's still a great friend, the 'power' never went to his head, and he never rubbed it in my face or started acting all smug. He's basically the same great guy before any of the Youtube stuff started so no, I could never envy him.

To be honest, I often feel envious of other YouTubers who just got started but already passed the amount of views or subscribers I have. I don't dwell on it though and instead, I focus more on what I can do for my channel

I do sometimes, but you can't let it get to you either. I was always taught, never to envy other people success because you don't know how they got there either. It's not really a competition, and just do you, because you'll know how hard you got there, and you'll look back like wow, ya know? At least that's how positive I try to be, that looking in the future I can't believe I got this far kinda moment. :)

Not really envy, but rather discomfort. If they succeed and I don't there is clearly something wrong with me and what I do.
