Dislikes....

Recently I have gone from 0 dislikes to 5 dislikes in the space of a few days. And I know it is someone from my school just to try and annoy me. Im starting to wish I never told anyone at school about it now. I know you shouldn't get annoyed at dislikes but one of my videos has 5 likes and 2 dislikes which looks bad on the line below it where it has the blue colour for likes and grey for dislikes or whatever. Is there anyway I can stop this from happening or is it not possible?
 
It is not at all possible to stop dislikes believe me I have a massive hate club from my school and you just have to ignore it! As long as you have people who enjoy watching you that's all that matter. I would just completely ignore it at school because that will annoy them the most :) Don't give up and don't let other people stop you from your goals, if I listened to haters I wouldn't have 6000 subscribers now.

well said but just literate on this you will always get dislikes on videos if you look at some of the big youtubers they get 1000's of dislikes its normal. The bar looks worst because you have a smaller veiwership chin up the more subscribers you get the better the bar will look (~^_^)~

Listen... You can disable the ratings BUT you're going to have haters whether you like it or not, but the way I see it is this..

If you have haters, GOOD! It just means your channel is reaching people, so when people hate you, people will love you DOUBLE that amount x so own it, roll your eyes because no matter what you do, whether you're famous or not... you can't please everyone x
 
If they get to you then you could turn off the like rating which means no one can dislike the video but also they cannot like it which is the downside..
I should ignore the dislikes though, if you react to them disliking your videos then they will keep doing it whereas if you ignore them, they will become bored soon enough and stop
Don't let kids at school ruin your life
