how dose dislikes work on your rating ?

dose you tube know to ignore one person disliking every video you have on the same day 60 odd videos ?

why would someone go through that many clicking dislike
 
This is what we know:
* dislikes count the same as likes because it's all a form of engagement
* engagement doesn't count much in the algorithm/ranking because it can be easily manipulated (watch time is key!)
* if someone dislikes all of your videos in one go it's a troll and shouldn't be taken seriously
 
On a less technical note, dont let dislikes get you down lol. If you can tell its the same person disliking all your videos, obviously its a troll and shouldnt be taken to heart. But if someone dislikes your video, and gives a comment describing what the didnt like, maybe that should be something that you take into consideration.
 
like I said... when you dislike something, move along, click away.... People that actually put effort into disliking and commenting, they shouldn't be taken seriously.... they have nothing better to do, just trying to cause drama... ignore it
 
Yep, dislikes are good for your videos and work the same way as likes, the people giving you them are only helping your channel grow!
 
I think there was another thread where the topic was dislikes on YouTube or trolls.... I guess if you're going to give "constructive" comments, then that's fine..... that usually isn't the case though, usually the comments, if they're negative, are not constructive..... and I guess Personally, I wouldn't say anything negative or take the time to click dislike, I just get bored with it and click away
