Lol that is very true. Of course, there ARE trolls everywhere on YouTube. You never know unless someone comments. If they bring up valid points why they dislike it, then that is fair. But as I said, trolls are everywhere. I hope I'm making sense

I made a video a while back about how "haters" don't exist. By technical internet speak a person who lives their life to dislike videos and hate is a "troll" This means a hater can't also be a troll, he must be something else. Which would mean the most common wide definition of a hater would just be "a person who hates things" Which would then encompass everyone. Which makes everyone a hater. So really the statement should be "Haters gonna hate the things they hate" LOL

I myself have never worried too much about it either as it really doesn't change peoples minds about who you are as a person...but in circumstances such as tutorials, the dislike bar is so helpful[DOUBLEPOST=1375389119,1375388902][/DOUBLEPOST]

So true, it just annoys me so much to even see people making videos about haters and stuff like that. in every from of art you will get people not liking your stuff simply down to your appearance and disregarding talent...so YouTube really is the same in that aspect!

Some people FREAK OUT about dislikes too... I mean I didn't LIKE getting them for a while, and if they outweighed my likes I'd be like "what the hell??" But no I have friends who get ONE dislike, and they will come message me "OMG OMG OMG!!! I got a DISLIKE!! Oh no!! What do I do??? What should I do!!!!" I'm like "calm the hell down and go about your business."

I get 1 - 3 dislikes in my videos, but I dont go

Dislikes cut up my soul.

Just kidding. But it is sort of upsetting, but then you get used to them the more you get. So, eh.
 
In a way, I personally find it discouraging.
A troll decided to subscribe to my channel and dislike every video I would put up.
He would never comment, so there was no way of blocking him.

At the beginning I would feel a tad upset, I felt like i had done something wrong to make them hate me.
However, I soon realized that i was focusing too much on this troll and needed to focus a lot more on those who support me and the positive comments.
