Disgusted about the new YouTube Layout.

Hello people, I am here today to rant about the new youtube layout.

For about 1% of you-tubers mostly un-partnered people are saying how great it is and YouTubes idiotic flame is being ignited.

For the other 99% of us partnered or not are so angry that some youtbers are going to leave and stop making videos if this update goes through. I for one am absolutely disgusted about this

Partly one of the reasons why I became a youtube partner was for the custom thumbnails, image mapping and for the little subscribe banner that used to be on top of videos, now that is gone, the thumbnails are nearly for everyone the background is the ONLY thing left that defines us and gives us (Partners or Not ) A unique look and feel.

I checked out the forums for the YTcreators blog and I found almost everybody was commenting about how disappointed they feel.

I do not know what youtube are thinking but If this goes through, not only is it taking away all of our unique designs but it leaves the question open...Do youtube actually value the people who kep them afloat the top of the Internet?

yeah some of the menu are gone or change... Some of them still miss or error, Yt make change just in piece by piece...

Yup, I made a video about it today. It's currently uploading haha, so I'll post it when it's done. I hate the new layout. YouTube is pushing smaller channels out of any chance of being noticed. All they care about is the big channels, the ones that bring in the most traffic, therefor YouTube gaining more money. It seems like thats all that YouTube cares about nowadays. Plus the announcement of paid subscriptions that they are adding this spring.

The paid subscriptions isn't suppost to be for every channel. Right now it's only about 25 channels that are going to be doing it. I think they are going for a netflix/hulu kind of a thing for certain shows.
Why leave YouTube? Everyone hates when YouTube updates things, but no one leaves because of it. It doesn't change the fun of making videos? It doesn't change the fun of watching videos?

They are making the profiles look like the homepage. They are getting rid of the backgrounds, so your profile will be white. There is still a banner on top, but I don't think it's even clickable. It's a mess.
Check out iJustine's channel if you want to see what it looks like, tho I don't think the banner is loading.. At least it's not showing up for me.
