Probably not although I wouldn't say that for sure. I've always been very harsh on some new-starting channels who think they're doing good but just are crap. I also am very rarely subscribing to a channel, so yeah that stayed the same for me I guess. What did change was that I started supporting small channels which were doing good.

Sounds like getting a sub from you is almost mission impossible lol :)

Actually, no I haven't changed at all when it comes to viewing/using YT. I've been aware for ages that many large channels are atrocious and many small channels are gems that deserve far more than what they get. And I've griped about the recommended stuff on the homepage and the sort of stuff YT promotes/suggests since they've first implemented those features.

Another thing that changed for me is that I subscribe a bit more easier now than before. Especially to small channels that I would like to see more from.

What never changed was that I never subscribe to big channels even to this day. Because if I feel like watching them, they're on my homepage anyways or its just easy to search for them, I didn't need to. =_="[DOUBLEPOST=1456917500,1456917444][/DOUBLEPOST]

Good for you, I guess.

Definitely, when I started I would go onto YouTube to look for something in particular and occasionally click on a big name video to see what all the fuss was about.
Then as I started making regular videos I was watching the suggested videos and subscribed to big names.
Now I appreciate small YouTubers a lot more and they're my favourite thing to watch with just the occasional video from somebody large (except Evan Edinger, I'l watch him every week).

I think I'm the same. I've become more aware of what I comment. I like to comment on YouTube, but now I have to give it a little more thought as I'm starting to get recognised. (as in not commenting on YouTube drama or giving much of my opinion. Unless its on something harmless like a game.

There's two types for me (My computer and my TV downstairs with an Xbox that has YouTube on it)
- On my PC is where I do the serious comparing stuff, keywords but also watching my friends grow and over pass me :crying:
- Meanwhile downstairs is where I just watch for fun, grab a jar of Nutella and watch the trends (Late Nights, New Trailers, Vines, Games by YouTubers and etc)
