Did anyone experience a sudden drop after fake subs

Hi everyone,
Around August 25, 2025, my channel experienced an unexpected increase of approximately 30 subscribers overnight, only to have them removed the following day. Since then, I've noticed a significant drop in views and engagement on my videos.
I’ve been putting a lot of effort into creating content, but this situation is really discouraging.
I want to clarify that I have never purchased subscribers or used any third-party services to boost my metrics.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? If so, how did you address it, and did your channel recover? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

I’m a Market Research Analyst at Talentmate, one of the leading job portals in the UAE. I usually share research-based guides and insights on our platform (you can check them out here: https://www.talentmate.com/articles ). I also run a YouTube channel where I give career guidance and industry trend analyses. Like you, I’ve never engaged in any malpractice such as buying subscribers or using third-party services. My goal has always been to guide and help others. But I also experienced the same issue, a sudden spike in subscribers followed by removals, and then a noticeable drop in views and engagement. It’s definitely disheartening when that happens, especially when you start a channel with good intentions. I’d also love to hear if anyone has found ways to recover from this and stabilize their channel’s performance.
