Developing Bite Sized Content!

Super Pawsitive

I Love YTtalk
Hello there!

I require some assistance. So recently, I got out of school for what I would like to think, is permanently. I have since then started production on multiple scripts and such for my channel as I would like to start taking it more seriously. Especially considering the current stats I have and how much reception each of my videos tends to get. Though, if there's one thing I've learned from my channel is that my main form of content, takes a WHILE to make, and that is no bueno. That's why I'm coming to you guys for help!

So, my idea is to make smaller bite sized content (essentially easier to produce and push out content) that will keep the interest of my subscribers while I produce larger pieces of content. Basically as a filler to hold the time gap between each major video. Like I said. Bite Sized.

Right now, I'm not on a consistent production schedule.
I would like to be though! If I could I would like to be uploading one video per week, if not more.

So far my videos have been going off the "JonTron" method of fame. Upload, wait a few months. Upload.

I mean, it's been working wonders either way. Though I would like to be more frequent if I can :P

I want something that matches my niche! Which, is retro reviews mainly. I have three primary series...es. My Review series (Takes about 2 weeks to produce). My "Worth A Play!" series (takes anywhere between a week or two. So, not much better than my normal reviews really). As well as my "Afterthoughts" series (by far the longest in production! If these didn't do so well, I wouldn't consider producing them. Anywhere between a month or two. Lots o research needed).

Reviews and Worth A Play are roughly the same. Just one is on newer titles while the other can be on a variety of titles no matter what the age. As for Afterthoughts, that's more of an "Editorial" piece series than anything else. It's mainly there to talk to people about topics I find interesting enough to warrant a whole video upon it. Typically, it has a VERY broad range.

I want something that matches the general feel of my channel, that doesn't stray into anything that requires improv. Cause, I'm pretty bad at doing anything live.

Sorry this post is so long, I've just been thinking about this a LOT recently.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED :D

Sounds like you just need to manage your time better. Have you thought to record a bunch of Review and Worth-A-Play series...es in one day that way you can knock out the editing and have some ready and you can focus on the longer editoral stuff and it'll give you more time for it because you won't be crunched to do the next review or worth-a-play.

That's actually really good advice. I can't believe I haven't thought of that before. I'm going to do that! Thanks! :)
