Dealing with haters and trolls :/

My last vlog I did was about that subject actually. But I took a different approach. I liked his comment, and others that sub to me did the same. He was the first of the haters, so I figured I "immortalize" him.

I don't care about the thumbs down I get. Thumbs down are useless unless there are comments to back them up. You just have to accept the fact there are those out there that attempt to mentally assault you by clicking dislike on every single video you have. The key is to shrug your shoulders and keep on trucking. If anything that "troll" just gave you a lot more views and possibly generated you some income. Now if your channel where to generate more dislikes than likes you'll have to check out what is making people thumb down your videos. That is definitely a content issue. I refuse to believe there are many people out there that thumb down multiple video for kicks. Some hate the success of others, but they can't overcome the sheer awesomeness of your regular viewer-base!

Yea but most of my videos have more likes than dislikes , some dont have any likes but that one dislike :P

I made a video parody on this subject a while back. There's one thing a fellow Youtuber told me a few weeks ago and that is this: I someone is hating on your videos, then you're doing something right because you're starting to get attention.

Don't let hate bring you down. Be proud of who you are and keep being the best person you can possibly be.

i can really relate, i use to put a massive amount of content out back in 2011. but along with growth there come hate, people who are going to try to bring me down. do not do what i did and stop. just keep going they are just jealous in the long wrong and they don't have the confidence lvl you do!

To copypasta earlier posts I've made:

As someone who grew up as part of the Internet Hate Machine, there will always be assholes, and people who get their kicks by pushing other people into the dirt.
The only thing you can do, what you have to do, is ignore it completely. Report it and move on. Never take it personally, and never give them the satisfaction of acknowledgement.

And to add to that, don't ignore constructive criticism just because it's not a positive comment. But do make sure it's constructive, and not just criticism

They want you to respond, they're trying to bring you down to their level.
If you want to live a public life online you have to grow some thick skin.
