Dating a BIG YouTuber

Would you date a big YouTube? I'm talking someone with a few hundred thousand subscribers, maybe they already have their gold play button.

This was a random thought that I had the other day, I don't think I would.

For one thing, as a small YouTuber myself, I wouldn't want to be accused of "dating him for the views." If he were the type of YouTuber with a decently sized teen girl audience, I'd be worried about the swarm of fan girls hating me for "stealing" their beloved lol

I don't know what I'm saying.

I believe Zoella started dating her boyfriends when he was famous and she was still starting out and look at her now, more famous than him! She proved everyone wrong that it was her content that people enjoy and not getting fame through purely her bf.
 
I mean, if they were the type of person I was interested in then definitely! I don't think whether they were big or not would even come across my mind, but it would probably be an interesting experience depending on how many people stop them on the street. :nailbiting:

I would take that opportunity as a big f**k you to all of the tween kids who worship youtubers xD
 
Yeah I mean I date people for personality not because of Youtube. I would probably keep it somewhat private though so we could have our privacy.
 
I have thought of this question before too! I would like to believe that I have a good moral compass and not date for views, but I could corrupt myself at the last minute.

I would hope that I would date someone for their personality and not for personal gain. Great, now I'm thinking...
 
No way. I feel like the relationship would always be unbalanced in that sense, especially if we met through Youtube.

On the other hand, if I started dating someone, THEN found out they have a successful channel, that would be okay.
 
MusicalBethan gets accused all the time of being friends/being in relationships with Youtubers just for the views. She was in a relationship with LukeIsNotSexy for a year or so when they were like 16 and now she's been in a relationship with Dean Dobbs for 2 years
