Created date change

Is created Date supposed to change the date on the YouTube Video? It's not doing that.

No. But I can go into my video settings and choose a different create date but it doesn't update in the video itself

Nope, in the past you could see when and where the video was recorded in the public stats page of the video if you would add that information.

I have no idea what else that option is for, maybe for SEO etc
