Can't say much more than that.
My video was recorded in 720p, edited in Premiere Pro CS4 but when uploaded to youtube it only plays in 480p and with this horrible crop!

Anyone know what went wrong or what I forgot to do?

Pic of the damage.

Ermermermeemrm, I dunno much about this but, I had similar problems in the past with after effect.

One of them was about making the composition a different quality than my footage was (causing to have black bars on top\bottom), I set the compositions to 1280x720 and it fixed.

The other one was when I exported the final video and it wasn't set for the quality that my video was (once again, the 1280x720).

I dunno if that might help, but it's what happened to me before, Gluck outta there o/

I've also noticed that within 30 minutes (an hour on some of my videos... Youtube, y u haet mp4?) of it saying it's done processing it is lower quality (e.g., 420p instead of the 1080p/720p)

Also, I've heard putting "16:9" as a tag (no quotes) will fix it, the black borders (stretch it to widescreen?) but I've never tried/used it before.

I was thinking the same about giving it time but it had been up quite a while.

Second try was worse!
I've gone right back to the start, I'm new to the program and I think I hit the wrong settings from the very start.
By the wonder of youtube I think I've found a video to help. :v

That's weird!
What settings are you using?

Can't even remember what I did the first time.
I was the first time I opened up APP so I just jumped in thinking I'd have a clue because I use other adobe programs, just made a mess. :P

I followed KingTutsPro's video, "Best Youtube Export Settings With Adobe Premiere Pro CS6" this time, render time has shot up from 5 minutes to about 25 so hopefully this works.
If not, I'm nearly at 25 posts so I'll throw up a link to the video to let you see what's going on.

Fingers crossed.[DOUBLEPOST=1418159609,1418145643][/DOUBLEPOST]Seems to have cropped out the top of my head now. Sigh...
I'll upload it tomorrow or tonight anyway, I'll figure out the rest later.

Not happy with the quality of the camera anyway.
Canon G12, 720p my a**!

Think I'll start saving for a G7X, maybe upgrade my DSLR to one with video. Nothing wrong with the picture quality of a 450d all the same, so I'm hesitant.
Maybe...
