Copyright strikes huh?

Hey guys I'm going to make a really big project, where I'm going to use a bit of copyrighted music (I already know the risk, and I'm willing to take it since it's some small japanese company that owns the song)

As far as I understand, if you get a copyright strike, you of course lose your partnership. But if you stay clean for ~6 months, you should be able to lose your copyright strike right? Can you ever get a partnership again?

Well with RPM a copyright strike will not lose your partnership. If you're Lucky you can get partner again after 6 months, but if your monetize tab will be disabled you can't partner anymore.

lol @ RPM, even copyright strikes won't get you out of your contract.

Why don`t you get in contact with the Company and ask them if you can use a tiny part of the Track or the hole Track? You can sometimes even pay a few Bucks to get the rights to use a Track depending on who is the owner of it.

Well I got a copyright strike in the first month I started uploading due to a stupid mistake I made, however after 6 months my channel was in good standing again and recently I got partnered so yeah, I don't think it would be a problem for you either even if you got a copyright strike. ;) Just don't get another one when you already have one.

Well it's about 2 minutes of the track, it's a Bleach OST called "Number One" I think I'll message the company.

or u could put some whitenoise on it so it's not picked up by the bots ...and you'd be fine .....pm me if u need help with it ..good luck

I don't know how certain networks work with regards to copyright strikes, but in this case it seems preferable to simply ask the owner for written permission... By no means am I an expert on this subject, but simply asking them or offering to make a small donation seems like a lot less hassle than running the risk of getting a strike...
