Controversial Topics: do more harm or good to my channel?

As you can tell from my user name, I delve into the controversial side of YouTube. but I started off that way and am approaching 3k subs. I did a video on what I think you were asking about. you're talking about the protest at the university of Toronto where they were yelling 'shame' to drown out people advocating free speech? the video I did gained me about a hundred or so subs. the video itself gave me around 13k views so far.

So it was a good topic for me, but it depends on a lot of factors. your audience could love it or hate it. your delivery needs to be good and you need to market it correctly. so it really depends on how well you do it and the audience you have/want.

just do it man! the haters will hate, the supporters will stick around!! dont be afraid, speak about the issues that others are to scared to bring up! HIGH RISK = HIGH REWARD! you will always LEARN from your Failures!
