Care to read up? - Like I said they may have started base 55/45 and changed it, I doubt it though, I was only with the network for around 3 months.care to share an example that backs up your statement?

Freedom initially gives you 6040 split yes, but subnetworks are free to use what rev share they may like to offer, they are not dependent on the 60/40.
so you got 55/45. If you did $100 on YT, you will get $55, the remaining $45 are split between that subnetwork and freedom in a % agreed on their contract.
If initially agreed a different rev share and then sneakly put you another one at the time you signed it and didn't notice it than that is all different story. But you should always double check the number in the contract.
but bottom line, networks and subnetworks will and can only take the % of the agreed rev share. Subnetworks will not and can never take extra from your cut. All they can take is according the rev share signed and agreed.
There is no financial loss for the youtuber that signs a subnetwork, normally there is a gain because subnetworks tend to offer better rev share than the parent network,
If you would actually read my posts "In my experience" I even said I was generalizing* them. The only one making statements as facts is you and carterBut that is one case. Your initial statements makes people think that all subnetworks give worse deals and they take extra cuts. Please don't generalise your experience with one subnetwork. That is not fair and will give the wrong advise to youtubers that are seeking more information.
You're confused. The 55/45 figure you are referring to is the cut that YouTube takes before sending the earnings to the channel (or channel's MCN). Once the MCN, Freedom in this case, gets the earnings, they split it 60/40 (you get 60% of the 55% from YouTube). The other 40% left over is split between the MCN and the subnetwork. No I signed 55/45. I knew it was 55/45 the entire time but still they initially singed me on a 55/45 but if I would have went straight to freedom it would have been 60/40. That is why I said that they take more of your revenue than the network itself.
You're telling me im confused when you have no idea what I'm talking about... lolYou're confused. Are you a sub-network or not? There are still many networks that have that type of contracts 50/50 55/45 and that is just plain robbery in my opinion.
