I for one encourage frequent uploads if the quality remains. I find that some people can't simply grasp the concept that just because you are subscribed to a person doesn't mean you are forced to watch every single video they create and upload.

Example: I enjoy watching Zaranyzarak's channel yet I often skip over his non-movie related vids. I subscribed for his detailed Blu-Ray and DVD reviews and his frequent franchise disambiguation vids. Doesn't thatmean I will unsubscribe because one week of videos do not meet my needs? No.

Now with that being said, someone doing a complete 180 with their channels content (gaming to film for example) may be a reason to unsubscribe.

Well I think the reason why people would unsubscribe is because they get tired of it flooding their feed of videos. Everytime they go to their feed they are faced with a wall of videos from someone. It could be annoying if you're not into that sort of thing.

I personally love watching daily vloggers. A lot of the people I watch upload a video every day.
 
It really depends on the content and the audience. If I liked a musician and they were release a 3 min track a day, one that I can listen to without watching the screen, hell ya I'm ok with that.

If it's gaming commentary or vlogging where I need to dedicate 3-10 minutes paying attention, then no, I have better things to do lol. Yeah I can see some subs finding it spammy if they only check their sub box once a week and see 7 of your videos, but you can't please everyone.
 
i've never understood how consistency helps you grow it keeps your current fans happy but i don't how it spreads your content i try to post weekly on my main channel and get decent traffic but i upload daily on my second channel and get 0 views on all of my videos
 
I try to go for a more weekly vibe now that I've partially established myself, although today I broke that rule by uploading 2 videos. But since this month I've uploaded the least ever since I began I think this can be allowed.

But I think twice a week is a very healthy number or weekly.
