Compressing faster with Veedub??

Rachael

I Love YTtalk
So usually after I export my videos from Vegas (vlogging videos, not screen recordings), they're about 40 GB. This takes days to upload on to Youtube, which is why I compress with Vdub64 (Xvid codec) But usually it renders at 3 or 4 fps. Is there a way to make it render faster?

Sounds like your Vegas render settings are way too high. Recommended bitrate for youtube is pretty low:

This guy has it right! Handbrake is a godsend for large videos, it compresses them loads without losing much quality at all, and it's free software!
You don't want to re-render your vegas export, his problem lies with fixing his rendering settings in Vegas.

Man, Like I said before
USE HANDBRAKE and @FunkyTrousers said so, it is godsend for large files.
