Click Bombs Ruining Full Time Youtubers

Phostose

Biggest thing since the wheel!
So I recently learned about haters/competition click bombing other youtubers to get their AdSense disabled. I was wondering what you guys do about this. The easy answer is to just not monetize your videos, but for anyone who would like to eventually or is going youtube full time; they have to be able to make a living off of it.

I've also read that being apart of an MCN can help you out in this regard, but does being a Youtube Partner do anything at all for this situation?

Honestly from what I've read in most situations, Google will disable your AdSense account at any point of it gets click bombed. What do you guys do to avoid this? Or is there even a way to avoid it?

I ain't gonna lie - that is a serious issue. You have all of your haters out there that wanna see you fail, and they'll take away your most important source of income so they succeed.

Wow, I never heard of this. Wouldn't google rather penalize the source of the clicking instead and research it, instead of shutting down a possible good resource for ad revenue? Do they keep clicking on the ads? I am unfamiliar with this.

They would probably disable your AdSense first, and then eventually locate the source of the problem.
Yes, they keep clicking on ads.

Thank you so much for replying. I didn't know people did that.
Very mean :(
Do you know if google ever reinstates people adsense when they do discover the problem?

The worst part is it's almost untraceable

Like how are you supposed to prove it wasn't you , when all the views come from weird other countries and are obviously fake.
It's messed up.

Everyone seems to hear about this, and I have never once seen and instance where it has actually happened
I don't personally know many Youtubers so I can't confirm that this is really happening, but it seems to be a big issue to those that do. They are many posts/videos online that Youtubers of made after an incident like this has occurred.

Agreed, Google needs to have some sort of protection for it. I am afraid to even monetize my videos because of click bombs.

From what I know of click bombs, it's usually that bots come and click the ads several thousand times. So that is not in the compony the is running the ads interests. It would seem like Google should be finding a source for this, which I am sure that they have to a point. The issue is that more websites that do this are always popping up. So usually Google's way to prevent this happen in the future is to just disable your AdSense account.[DOUBLEPOST=1415823536,1415823463][/DOUBLEPOST]T

The issue is that Google doesn't seem to ever stand up for us Youtubers.

so everyone went off topic a little so let me be the first to answer the original poster, MCN does not help you. the end.

I've had messages from people advertising selling views, trying to catch out people, but to go in trying to essentially ruin someone's career? There's some messed up people in the world man.
