Channel Trailer

Hey everyone,

The thing is, I have never made a trailer before and I have no idea where to start/what to do with it.
I have been watching other people their trailers and some of them amazed me, but still leaves my blank for my own idea or even doing it.

So what are good ways to start out?
Would sony vegas pro 12 do the job? (As I am using that)
What makes a trailer a GOOD trailer ?

That would probably answer my questions :p

Sincerely,

RoyalCandle

Boobs, lots of explosions, boobs, a badass hero who has sex with every girl, boobs, more explosions, and last but not least, boobs.

If you can't do that, then a funny moments montage could always work, just make sure you get the audience's attention with something funny in the first 2 seconds, because that's about the length of my attention span. :bounce:

A good trailer tells people watching what you do and who you are. For example... a gaming channel might include clips from games, a vlogging channel might include highlights from different vlogs they've done. Text spelling it all out for your audience is a good way to go, too. Remember, this is to catch the attention of people who have never been to your channel. This is how you introduce yourself to youtube. Make it short, no longer than a minute or two at most. Sony Vegas pro is perfect for the job (I use the 11th or 10th version and I refuse to update)

I would say about a minute long, fast paced, using the best clips from your videos (whether they be vlogs or games or whatever).
