Channel Creation Date

I've Got It
I have a question on channel creation date and how or if it's important. I created a family/toy channel in 2016. He was only 2 at the time so it was hard to create content. But we wanted to secure our name across multiple platforms. Our son is still only 3 years old but we are starting to upload consistently and are serious going forward.

I have set up other channels to create our brand as it gets bigger. So I really don't want to start again but we currently have 100 Subscribers and only 6 videos. So it's an option..

My question is how important is the creation date? My concern is that viewers would see it as older than the content is or in some way YT promotes 'new' channels?

I don't think anyone cares about creation dates or YT as our channel grows and esp. if it takes off. I just want to confirm that I'm overthinking this..lol

Everyday new products appear in the market. Same with actors, politicians whatever...
I don't think that anybody says, "no thanks! it is a new / unknown brand / person"
most people are willing to test, try, hear, buy, watch even promote if they like this new
thing/person/brand. Guess same goes on a channel's creation date.
Perhaps it is also an advantage...

Offtopic: I have a disagreement on showing minors in Youtube. Even if their mom's agrees.
Tbh I also show my daughter from time to time in videos but in general I try to avoid it if I can.

What's your opinion on showing minors in children movies or TV shows? If it's OK then what's the difference?
 
I created my first channel back in 2007 and didnt upload until around 5-6 years later and that channel is doing OK.
 
I created my channel back in early 2017, but I did not start making videos till the next year. Unless is really curious, I don't see the problem with the creation date of a YT channel, I would not over think it bud.
