CC Translation to other language

I have translated my CC into a Hindi srt file. From video manager I publish the Hindi translation. However, when the video is launched the CC defaults to English, I can use settings to change CC to my Hindi CC Translation. Is there a way to default the CC to Hindi when the video starts?

If I got the question right, every individual viewer have master preferences to on/off subtitiles and preffered displayed language.

Yes you did - so the closed caption should present in the language specified by the viewers youtube account, I keep seeing the CC in English because that is the preferred language on my youtube account - Ok, thanks
