Cartoon / Drawed Avatars?

Pen tool is annoying... for some reason it still comes up with the anchor points and i cannot start on the hair ^^ annoying!

It was annoying to me at first too! It just takes a little getting used to if I'm honest but, once you get the hang of it it's soooo useful! :)
 
Look for tutorials on youtube, its not that hard really, alot easier if you have a wacom but I like to use adobe flash to get cartoon like lines.
 
Well @Joofville did ours.. he also did our open as well as is working on an animated series with us called Skippy and Boots. He is super busy and not sure he is doing more at the moment. There are a few other fantastic artist on this site who can do it.
 
I was thinking of making one for my YT channel so it's me as the avatar and not just some random painting I did, haha. Haven't figured out what I want to do yet though.
