can't stand new layout

Every time I log into my account now, I can rarely find videos that I haven't watched. There will be maybe two newly uploaded ones and the rest are one's I've already seen. I also hate the layout, it's stupid. So boring! And when I get messages, I always seem to miss them because they're now in tiny little print among the rest of the layout.

How does everyone else feel about it? / are you having issues with anything?

I really don't understand all people are complaining about D: lol seriously, I for some reason don't have that problem. I have all my subscriptions on the side, I have it set up to uploads only, when ever they upload something new, a number representing the amount of new uploads show by their name. If I click their channel name, I see all recent uploads...

With Messaging, is just awesome, I can go into my dashboard and I can see all the new messages and am able to reply in a fast easy way. I can also go into my inbox just like I used to.

What really is the sooooo wrong thing going on here, Perhaps Youtube is still rolling the new changes and haven't reached every account. And perhaps some people still have the half-assed incomplete version of the new layout?

Its possible. Or maybe I'm just not used to it yet. either way, I'm not impressed at the moment. It's very difficult to see new uploads, I literally have to scroll through my feed until I see that they uploaded something new.

Loocky My screen, See, I don't have that problem. Just be patient - All accounts will be fixed in time.

I agree that the layout is very uninspired. A bit more colour wouldn't hurt them at all. Even more red would be something.

What bothers me is that I can't see my comments unless I manually go into inbox, which is silly because the private messages pop up on the homepage.

Exactly, that is one of the major things which annoys me as I usually have a few inbox messages a week and I keep forgetting to check them until I finally remember to check them. But I do prefer the previous layout where they used shades of grey (No, not the book) and didn't use huge chunks of white and it was more manageable than it is now.

But I have got used to this layout and I'm surprised at myself, but if they just add the proper notifications for inbox messages then I would be hunkydooree

One thing I miss are the Partner channel layouts. Where they had the sidebar with the images and stuff. That was cool, cos it set the fancy partners aside from all the others. Now everyone's a Partner, and all the 'real' Partners get are headers, it all seems the same, and channels aren't worth visiting any more

I like the last layout a lot better then this one for sure. The update to playlists was nice, but the rest of it I just don't know. Perhaps I'm missing it but I can't find a way to view a youtubers videos without manually going to their channel now, before we were able to click a little button and their past 20 videos would show. When I wasn't keeping up with my busy subscriptions that was perfect, now I HAVE to make sure I keep up with videos otherwise I get lost x.x

I'm okay-ish with the front page, I am really tired of having to click 'subscriptions' when I go to the homepage. The suggestions are okay and they can be helpful but I don't want to see them everytime I check for new videos!
