Can't get the custom Youtube URL?

That's logical and understandable.

But they should make it work when people reaching the requirements :hot::meh2:
 
I created my YouTube channel, well, as a YouTube channel first. I made the account and then linked it with Google Plus whenever I got tired of not being able to comment. So I have the /user/HoraryHellfire before the /channel/(10-20 characters of random letters numbers and dashes) we defaulted. So now, I couldn't be happier. It makes it easier putting an annotation to subscribe because all I need is to put my Username instead of a copy and paste URL link.
 
Same here. I made this account in 2009 but rarely used it. I decided to finally use it and still have the custum url. (only 12 subs)
 
i believe you need to check your g+ page and verify it, that could be the answer to getting your custom uri. if its not that one then check your youtube settings and verify it (adding phone, website, email and personal information).
 
Hello, me again, an update

It finally worked. The last requirement has to be done and it a completely different one:
Get at least 10 followers on Google+

Yea, its totally off the way and imho stupid. It's like you want to buy some apples in the local supermarket. You have to pay $3 here and you have to feed the dog in the pet store down the lane, to get your apples....

Second weird thing is:
I wasn't able to get my custom URL /c/SquealCat. You were forced to have other characters behind your name: for example Squealcat01

So I changed my name to Squealc, and added "at" behind that thus becoming Squealcat. After that changing my name back to original
