Canon T3i Stops Recording Randomly?

I've had this problem for a while now, and I'm hoping someone knows a solution. For some reason, whenever I'm recording video on my T3i, it'll randomly stop recording (I have magic lantern set to restart the video recording), but I still have to stop what I'm saying and keep an eye on my LCD to ensure that it hasn't stopped recording.

Sometimes I can record a 14min video with no problems, other times it won't even record 10 seconds without restarting. Anyone know what could be causing this?

I'm using a 32GB Sandisk Ultra 30mb/s class 10 SDHC card. Could that be the problem? :help:

That usually happens to me when I record videos without formatting the card on the camera!
Hmm, I did format it before using it. Perhaps it needs to be reformatted though. I haven't cleaned off the card and reformatted in a while.

I usually just clean it off in my computer. It still needs to be reformatted inside the camera once in a while, so it is completely blank!

I have this problem to but if it records for more than 4s it will keep recording until i tell it to stop or it runs out of memory. But now you have mentioned re-formatting i think i will try that. thx.

Mine will only record with a 45 mb/s card anything lower and this is what happens. You could turn down someone the settings and it will probably work

Hmmm, thanks for the advice, everyone. I tried recording after reformatting the card with no luck.

I'll try getting a faster SD card and see if that works.

It happened to me once and I couldn't get it to work. So I just bought another memory card and it worked perfected :)
