Can your description link in youtube age restrict your videos

I had a few videos with two girls kissing, (no nudity) but I had a link to a fan page that had a link to the full video (with nudity) 2 videos got removed, one got age restricted.

My plan is to upload a few more videos but this time cut the video just before the kissing scene, then put in the description box as before the link to the fan page where there are links to the full video. Whats the best way to go about this?

Before anyone has a hissy fit, please remember there is a thing called free will, and my videos do include subject lines that relate to the video, so people do have the choice to click on the video or not from what they read on the subject line. ( NO SURPRISES)

Only reply with serious advice...Thanks for any good replies.

I think that it is the videos themselves that are getting banned but the description is probably making it worse, ( youtube has rules against this sort of thing so you aren't really allowed to post these things in the first place)

It will depend on what's in the video. Videos only get removed/restricted if someone reports it and you simply can't stop people doing that, even if you ask nicely. You can put anything in the description, but it's the viewers who flag these things not YouTube themselves.

I understand that if someone flags a video it will get reviewd by youtube, I know you cant stop someone from flagging a video, thats like saying your going to stop the sun from comming up in the morning. What matters to me and the rest of the youtube community is when youtube reviews the video will they age restrict the video on the basis of the description link alone, subject line alone? Content alone? or all three?

Descriptions are probably taken into consideration too. If they contain links to pornography or illegal websites, the videos will be removed, because I don't know of any YouTube policy in which the YouTube staff modify descriptions.

Nudity is not a big issue on YouTube any more if it's tasteful... however, if you link to a p**n site YouTube will remove the video. I've seen some pretty nasty videos with nasty descriptions that, somehow, despite being flagged, stay up... so I am almost convinced it is the link.

I see some videos that are more explicit then mine who ahave been up for 5 years

Like I said, it's most likely the link. Some sites are automatically flagged by Google so linking to them will result in your video being removed. If you aren't linking to a hardcore p**n site you should try using a URL shortner instead of linking directly to the site.

Here is how the video is linked, facebook fan page in the youtube desciption, then on the facebook fanpage links to the full video. But the video/videos are not on a p**n site, the full videos are hosted on a video uploader (like photobucket) nly for videos. Its called videobam hosting.
