I use a Panasonic HVX200. I just got a Canon 5D mark ii, but I'm still learning the basics. There's a lot of switches and stuff.

With a good fast lens that thing is a beast in low light.

I just a Canon 7D right now for filming.

For my old videos, I used my iPhone 4s, and it looked pretty good to me. Now I use a Canon T3 Rebel with a Canon 50mm MK1 lens and a Canon 18-55mm lens.

It seem everyone records with smartphones especially iPhones. I'm one of them, i use iPhone and iTouch 5 . You don't need to go to that far. Switch once your channel starts growing, Even i'm buying a iStablizer for my iPhone and ill slowly replace that with a professional recorder for my recording but for gaming ill keep using my iPhone.
