I got it when it was 250$ which was a steal so you are getting a steal of a steal ha ha. There are build in filters and the such that are fun to mess with. But remember there are different recording settings. I wasn't even recording in hd and never noticed ha ha. Its hd is freaking sweet I would definetally recommend this. Granted you will need to get a new bigger batterie pack. The one it comes with lasts maybe 30 minutes :/ only real downfall. and the battery packs aren't very cheap since you need the brand name packs. But even after that, its a great camera especially for the price.
