I did post a topic similar to this 2 months ago i think but, as new people come in they may have ideas too so, now that i have built my gaming pc, i recording my first video, after hearing it... there was a buzzing in my 10 year old microphone, so now i need a new one... what does everyone recommend?

I may get a blue snowball, but i am sure there is some out there that are cheaper and other different microphones that could be better?

Thoughts please.

What do you use to record sound with?
 
I have a ZOOM H1 and i love it :) I dont do a lot of talking in my vids though.

to be honest, the one I had before that was around £40 but it was really horrible, so definitely wouldn't reccomend. but those are the only 2 I have ever had, youll have to get reccomendations from some others :)
 
I got the blue snowball Ice on ebay for about £40 which is not too much, u could go for mic headset if you want to save money if u wanted.
 
The blue snowball and the zoom H1 (or similar models) are really good for their price and have good clarity for recording :) I don't have a proper 'recording microphone' but for my videos I use a rode videomic and that does for PC recording too, the only issue is that it's hard to mount it places.
