Branding change!

Hey all, I'm going through a branding change since starting YouTube. I started out as comedy, and organically found myself becoming more of an entertainment channel, with geeky news features and such.

Just wanted to start a discussion - have any of you gone through a complete brand change? What worked? What didn't? Why did you do it?

Well not a complete change, but still some sort of change...

I started my channel to showcase just my music which I did from 2007 till 2012, but from 2012 till now I totally changed it to teaching people how to make electronic music and with that also upload some music every now and then. Also I can say that for me this has been a great success so far, back before the change I had a small 200 subs, but now... Well, just look for yourself LOL. I can say it was the best choice I made for my channel, and now another change is on it's way with new video types and a webshop with sample packs and presets for making music.
