Boobs Get The Views

I find comments like that really disrespectful, especially if the person who's left them doesn't appear to have paid attention to what the video's about. I don't see why a video should have more or less worth based on the way you've chosen to dress.

Personally I style myself to suit my moods and if people find it aesthetically pleasing, that's a bonus for them.

lol well... i dont even wear bikinis, after having my children i just am body shy, i war boogie board shorts with tang tops,[DOUBLEPOST=1464116000,1464115686][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yup! Like i said, everyone here i feel is putting me down because i am afraid of showing "cleavage" i never said im afrad i am just venting how i feel they get views and i understand why, sex appeals.
i am simply just venting how hard i feel for me to gain views with not using that method, and just stating how my husband feels and how im respecting his decision and that he does bring up a good valid point as to why he doesnt feel comfortable because of our kids..... however.... like you stated....style myself to suit my moods and if people find it aesthetically pleasing, that's a bonus for them

if you follow me daily i will eventially vlog about special occasions that happen in my life like christmas party events or friends weddings then ill dress up in a perhaps outfit that does show some cleavage but until then then nope i am wearing whatever suits my mood and makes me feel comfortable in doing within my video if you dont like it then leave and watch something else.

I'm not putting you down.

I just think you should look at this from another angle.

The (new) viewing public won't know if cleavage is part of your regular dress code or not.

Walk down the street or work with women, and cleavage is everywhere- it's no big deal.

I think you are just being hard on yourself by classifying this sort of dress code as sexist (it's not in moderation).

Ultimately the choice is yours, and if you don't feel comfortable with that style of dress, then don't do it. Sure, it will pull more views, but that's not the basis of why you are doing YT.

I just didn't like the way the discussion was veering towards the view that any woman that shows some cleavage on YT is somehow of low morals or embarrassing the family.

It's a shame that boobs get views, but are those really the viewers you want? Just ignore those comments. Post content your proud of and you would want your kids to be proud of. You'll end up with nicer subscribers that way. :) There are loads of big YouTubers out there that don't feel they need to expose themselves to get views. I'm relatively flat-chested myself, so I couldn't show cleavage if I tried. Haha.

Someone who i shared my video with requested i show "cleavage" to attract views,
If it was just a suggestion, there's no reason to be upset about it (if you are), nor do I think he was being a jerk, necessarily. But don't ever do something you're not comfortable with purely to get views, it won't come off as natural and you'll get short term views but you won't really be building a following. You won't be hitting the audience you want.
that being said whats your guys thought on this?
Well, from someone who has earned a ton of money (I consider it a ton, anyway...just shy of 6 figures between YT revenue and licensing fees) over the past 7 years from a video that has no cleavage, but does showcase my wife's boobs via a faint outline of her bra, I can say definitively that it is a tried and true way to get views on Youtube. As a matter of fact, my video was a 'video response' to a similar video put up by a couple of film guys, only they used a bikini on a table to demonstrate. Some of their audience thought they were faking the results, so I decided to corroborate it, using a live model instead of a bikini on a table, convinced it would get me millions of views. I was right. The thing here was, my wife was completely on board with the idea (it was actually her suggestion), it wasn't something we were planning on doing regularly, and it wasn't something that felt uncomfortable to her in any way whatsoever. I would never had pressured her into doing anything she didn't want to and vice versa. Relationships are more important than views.
He for one doesn't feel comfortable about that idea and doesnt want our kids growing up seeing their mommys tatas all over the internet.
If you were a bikini model (which is widely considered a legitimate occupation) your kids would be seeing more of your tatas on the internet, so I'm not sure that that is a valid reason not to do it. The better reason not to do it is because it's simply not you.

(( but are those really the viewers you want? )) Not at all!
(( . Post content your proud of and you would want your kids to be proud of. You'll end up with nicer subscribers that way. ))
Exactly! Yup! the way i am going for my channel :)

All I have to say is it's rly up to u. If u want to then go right ahead but odds are some of the viewers won't be there for the content. But if u don't then u know their there for the content.

Boobs get views. It's like when you walk somewhere with a group of male friends & you're talking but as soon as someone with boobs on show walks past then they zone out & stare. There's nothing wrong with it if a girl feels she needs to wear something that shows a bit of cleavage if it makes her feel comfortable but yes alot of girls use this to grow their channels & it works but in the wrong way. I only show cleavage when I feel I need to let them breathe but I don't do it on YouTube for subs, (I'm pretty sure I don't have any vids like that anyway) yet the majority of my few subscribers are male. It's just a thing & it won't change BUT stick to your guns and don't listen to people that say things like "just try it out" & bull like that.
You do what makes you feel comfortable & keep your channel the way you want it & the viewers will still come in :)
Anyone else can go fluff themselves!
:)
