I ask all, what best program for RECORDING :)
For me best program is Fraps (Gameplays)
For tutorials, for me best is Action :)
PS: and OBS is good :D for all :3

I agree with you :) Fraps and OBS are my two favorite. I was using XSplit for awhile, but I am starting to have issues with it latly.

XSplit has worked great for me. I still don't know how to use OBS honestly, and someone recommended Camtasia to me. I saw that and was like... uhhh.... lol.

I'd like to learn to use OBS and Camtasia sometime tho, if they are better options.

I use XSplit as well as some of the others on this thread. OBS wouldn't ever install on my pc and I've never use FRAPS. I use to have problems with XSplit when I first started, but now it's rare that I ever have a problem with it. Plus, I can't use OBS to stream with YouTube, so I guess it worked out for me that I decided to use XSplit in the end.

For gameplays I prefer to use Fraps, but it creates big files, so I'm now switching to OBS and Xsplit. For other recordings like Screen capturing OBS is good, but there is nothing better than Camtasia Studio (for me, doh)

i tried several softwares on my PC but most of them are not powerful. However, i used "HyperCam 2" recently and i am happy with it so far ....

From what I have heard, Action! is the best recording program! I personally use Camtasia as it has a built in editor too which is good! You can check out my videos for a preview if you would like!

I use Action! and that has served me well so far. If you're going to purchase it though, wait for it to be on sale in Steam :)

I have only used Action! and I love it.

NOTE: If you have a higher spec computer try out Fraps.
If your computer is really low end (Like 2.5 Ghz) then try Action! They have a free trial I believe.
