Best day to upload?

Is Thursday a bad day to upload a video, I have heard something about but I'm not sure. Should I just wait to upload it on Friday instead of Thursday? Thanks

There really isn't a "bad" day to upload a video. Generally more people are on YouTube during the weekends, so Friday is probably best.

I normally upload on Saturday/Sunday, but that’s because I only have time to film and edit on weekends. I do like to think that is when most people are on YouTube though - Either because they’re not in work or are hung over and just brows random YT channels (like I do :))
I reckon if there ever was a ‘best day’ to upload, it’s probably been exploited so much by now that it doesn’t make a difference.

(I'll move to the strategy forum)

It depends on a few things like how many videos you upload per week and your type of content and also your target audience.

You can never go wrong with a weekend upload though IMO, so if you are uploading once a week, then Saturday would be a good day

From what I've seen on a website a long time ago, it seems like any time during the middle of the week is best, like Tuesday-Thursday is when users are most active. If I find the article about it I'll post it.

Days doesn't really matter it is all on luck and your seo from google. The more you upload with good tags and descriptions google will increase your chance of being viewed.

I think that the time of day you upload is more important then the actual day. I try to upload videos in the late afternoon/evening hours since that's when most people get off school/work and it might increase the possibility of them seeing the video in their sub box. Of course it also depends where you live and where the majority of your viewers live (because of time zones). I don't know if what I said actually works but it makes sense to me anyways.

Monday or Tuesday is the best day. Because that's when alot of people from work would like to check out a Youtube video when they are bored. The weekends are usually have less activity because there's more people out.
