Best 3D animation software?

Cameron Dubs

Making David Cameron Sing!
Hey Guys :)

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good 3D animation software?

It needs to have good lipsync capabilities too - this is the main thing. I've tried Muvizu, but this lipsync isn't exactly the best and can't be customised.

I've also got Source Filmmaker. This seems okay, but the resources are limited.

Anyone know of any better ones than these?

Not bothered whether they're free/paid, as this is for a new professional project of mine.

Thanks guys :)

Cinema 4D and Blender are both probably the most popular, Blender is fRee, I'm not sure on the price of C4D, but I have used Blender and it's amazing for free software, it is very easy to get used to and very powerful. Blender is free so you can give it a try, I don't know if there is a trial for C4D.

I think there's a student version of C4D. I personally cannot use Blender, it's so complicated.
Blender is actually really easy. Once you get past the interface (which is easier than most), you can begin working super quickly. Took me about an hour to get used to everything.

Cinema 4d and Blender are pretty good software I have used and have had a good experience with, I hear that 3ds max is very good too :)

Thanks guys :) Looks like I'll try out Blender, then on the off chance I can't get my head around it, then I'll get the trial of cinema 4D, then consider buying the full version

Thanks again guys - it's much appreciated :)
