Being embarrassed

Heydeeho dear fellows.

So, I'm currently doing my first video and while filming it something crossed my mind. Sometime there will be a point where my family and friends will get to know about my hobby. Now what I want to know is, if you were embarrassed the first time someone close found out about your hobby.
I wouldn't be really embarrased but it surely would be a little bit awkward. I'm just a little bit anxious about the reactions. So maybe you could appease me with your experiences.

Im still embarrassed lol, only because i act a little more freely on my videos than i do with my family lol. But as time goes on i'm caring less eventually you take more pride in your videos. But i understand the embarrassment or the potential awkwardness, its just something about them watching lol

i'm not embarrassed at all.
But my so called friend are trolling me a lot in real life. Because of that.
They arent my friends anymore.
 
It was my friends and family that encouraged me to do this in the first place, so no real embarrassment at all, aside from when a RL joke makes it into a video and I didn't realise until the comments pick up on it.
 
What I noticed after making gaming videos and dumb vlogs that I make, I found out that it got easier to handle talking to a screen, and I feel that it actually made me feel less and less embarrassed about making the videos and showing it with friends. So i think you'd be alright when you get used to. And like everyone says, it's something that can't hold you back. It's always there, and you should always feel good about it. :D
 
Not embarassed at all .
I mean , i never had problems doing videos and i never got embaressed talking to my PC since i used to be a competitive player ( never got it into pro gaming tho ) and when i used to live with my parents there were no problems since my parents are gamers aswell . They used to see and hear me to swear and curse on TeamSpeak , now they do the same thing but on Youtube lol .
Friends ? The same thing and now that i started with english commentary we watch my videos together and we laugh at my voice tone , accent and pronunciation doing it .
So yeah , i'm pretty much ok doing what i do .
And it might be because i'm the same way with everyone so i don't have anything to hide .
 
No reason to be embarassed if your friends find it they can support or make fun of it and if they make fun of you doing videos on youtube then its just because they wish they could do what you do :P
 
I'm proud of what I do so I don't have anything to be embarassed about. If somebody has something smart-assed to say, I don't need to be around them.
