Be Honest

I would stop only if those subscribers wouldn't watch the videos. If they kept watching i'd keep uploading just bringing a little entertainment to some people is good enough for me. I didn't do YouTube to get popular, I did it so that I could bring a smile to someone's face,or to make them laugh.

Well at the point I'm at I have about 200 people who like to see my videos and sometimes only 100 of them watch and sometimes as many as 300 do (this is my subs I'm talking about not outside viewers) they also love to comment on my videos and and I like to make them laugh in the comments. So I'd never just abandon all them cause it's not gonna grow, if they keep watching I'll keep entertaining them. I just wouldn't fret over having a schedule or trying to make my videos "palatable for the masses" I'd just upload what I felt like when I felt like it.

Everyone would stop, eventually. Those who say they won't are lying. You are not gonna keep making YouTube videos for 5 years if you never get more than 10 views or if you barely gain subscribers. Like me right now, I'm just starting and have 13 subs but if that only increases with another 10 in the next 5 years I'd really quit. :P I mean come on, everyone wants to see some evolution in the things they do, like they know they are doing the right thing.

not all of us are that small benjamin. Some of us are playing to an empty house yes, and they would probably stop, but some of us are playing to a room of around 1-300 people. Not to mention my audience is very interactive, I think of them as friends who admire my work. As long as they keep watching, I'll keep uploading.

I don't think that is even possible. As long as you keep making videos, constantly, every single week, you will eventually grow to become a big youtuber. It may take you five or ten years, but you will not stay a small channel forever, simply because your videos will eventually be discovered somehow...

... it isn't about reality, it's a what if question. Hypothetical. Just go with it.[DOUBLEPOST=1374429196,1374429179][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh and really nice YTT bashing on your newest video. If you don't like it here you're welcome to not come here any more.

once again my friend, it's not a "realistic" question, it's "hypothetical" Imagine this is a magical entity from another world with the power to MAKE you stop growing. Would you keep going for the audience you have or would you stop.

I agree! If I had your amount of subs I would continue too. I was merely talking about the low subs like less than 100. Yours probably increased over the past few months, right?
